This is true. We started crate training at night time and when we go out without my 12 wk old puppy. When he gets to “zoomies” at night, he plays for about 20 minutes then it’s wind-down time and he goes to sleep. I then transfer the sleepy pup to the crate. He’s 6 lbs so easy to move.

(1)This is how I found out very quickly how to tell when my puppy needs a nap. Once she becomes a shark it’s my sign she’s been up too long. It has helped a lot in the evening hours to not just munch

Biting was a challenge the first few days but I started replacing my hands for a favorite toy. He still chews at times, and I sit so he can’t access my toes or hands. Once he’s calm again, we can resume playing. If he starts up again, I either move away or he can go to his crate for some quiet time. I love ❤️your videos! They really help! The book is great too!

I just got my 8 week old Bernese 3 days ago and today he woke up and chose violence, took your advice and put him in his crate ( for the first time) and he literally fell asleep within a minute and slept for over an hour. Continued this throughout the day and now at 11pm he went potty and went straight back to his crate to sleep ❤️
