Started HRT two weeks ago and bloating is awful. I want to cry. 😩 I’m pushing through but only giving it 3 months. I eat healthy and work out 4x/week. Can’t take magnesium-makes me have lucid dreams

I read somewhere that progesterone is a diuretic so to me its seems the estrogen is what causes the water weight?

I just saw my dr for all my perimenopause symptoms and all she recommended was take Effexor… she said “ your symptoms don’t seem that bad”. 🤦🏼♀️

First time I tried I gave up in 10 days then I found out I can take progesterone a little less often so I take it every other day now and I’m not getting as much of a bloat also castor oil packs help

I’m a year and a half in and still bloated. It’s the progesterone! It slows down the digestion. It does not go away.
