A lot of doctors are so useless and only care about money. Many people hate going for checkups just to get dismissed

last week, I went on holiday with my husband, but on day 2, I suddenly had a really bad fever, a bad headache and my body felt really weak. Went to the clinic for some medicine but the doctor refused to give it and urgently sent me to hospital

Last story happened to my mom... very rare cancer in the mouth. Dentists couldn't do anything and doctors considered it a dental issue. She died 6 months later

For me this week it was a patient with a fever, no other symptoms. Took a Covid and flu test and they did a ct just to be sure. She had an aortic aneurysm with an infection inside of it….

Unfortunately the sepsis screening is robbing frontline of intuition. I had a patient who wasn’t scoring a ‘5’ but I knew he wasn’t right, and I was right. If they score 4 or less no action gets taken

My normal temp is between 36 and 36.5. When the ear thermometer says 37.5 I definitely have a fever, even though technically its within normal range

My husband had heartburn, they finally did some tests and found a cauliflower sized mass in his intestine, did abdominal surgery, it was cancer but it didn’t spread

I'm not sure if it would be considered life or death. I went to the ER because my shoulder felt wierd. Neither the nurse or doctor ask what the bandage was on my arm with shoulder that felt wierd.

Woke up not being able to see out of my eye, sore back, legs and arm were numb 2 weeks ago. Diagnosed with optic neuritis. Ended up testing positive for Neuromyelitis Optica Spectrum Disorder (Devic’s disease) 8 days ago. Autoimmune disorder that attacks the central nervous system 😭 can’t really walk properly anymore

Got a patient who complained of a “minor tummy ache. Nothing serious, just uncomfy”. Checked her EKG. A fucking STEMI. Trop I level? The fact that she’s still standing is crazy. Lady was having an active heart attack but to her, it was a minor tummy ache.
