No one stopped them. They eventually reached a secluded railway track, where their disturbing intentions became clear. Though the full details of what happened remain difficult to hear, the boys hurt James in multiple ways, throwing rocks and bricks at him before leaving him near the tracks. His life was tragically taken in an act of violence that shocked the world. The next day, James’ body was discovered.
