Russian nozzles, you either love them or you hate them, but these mini Russians are so much easier to work with so I would suggest getting a set of these if you come across them. See the video for the nozzle I used and instructions on how I two-toned the flower. Russian nozzles can be a hit or a miss and can be frustrating to use, especially with the batch of buttercream I was using, it was too hot. See previous video of why this was and some tips to help. In this video, because my buttercream was too hot the petals were floppy, I just used a cocktail stick to help trim them down ☺️ Here are a few tips when using them: - Put a thin layer of buttercream on the cupcake, this will help the buttercream/flower stick. - Use buttercream that is cold/stiff, too hot buttercream will make the petals flop - Begin piping the centre with one flower, then go around the edges to fill the cupcake surface - Squeeze the piping bag and pull up in a quick burst, releasing the pressure Let me know if you have tried these nozzles, they used to be my nemesis but I'm slowly starting to like them, I love the little bouquet they produce. #cupcakebouquet #russiannozzles #americanbuttercream #debbiebakes #flowercupcake #pipingflowerutorial #buttercreamflower #cupcakeflower #americanbuttercream #miniflowers #prettypink
