@jinlong.wan: The Zugspitze is the highest peak in Germany, standing at an altitude of 2,962 meters. It is located in the southwestern part of Bavaria, Germany, in the border area adjacent to Austria and is part of the Alps. The mountain top is covered with snow all year round and has one of the largest glaciers in Germany - the Schneeferner. The mountain body is composed of limestone and has a steep terrain, surrounded by deep valleys and the famous Eibsee Lake. The iconic metal cross on the mountain top symbolizes the highest geographical point. On a clear day, one can overlook the Alpine peaks of four countries - Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Italy, such as the main peak of the Swiss Alps and the Dolomites in Italy.
