I need a Persian to confirm that they in fact cook, drain and rinse the rice. In the rest of the Middle East we don’t do this.

Used to work in a Persian restaurant, the best rice (if you can find it) is Anjoman rice, it’s like Basmati but more fragrant, you need to wash it like hell but so worth it 🙏🙏
