So what’s the connection of saving money and cleaning? I believe there's two sides to building a life with intention: saving money and making money. For a long time, saving was our only option. Over 4 years ago, I was burnt out. No village, husband getting his pilot career started, so he was gone a lot, we had limited resources, working full-time from home during the panini 🦠 with no help, in a new city where I knew no one, postpartum depression, anxiety, ADHD…. the list goes on. I hit rock bottom. 🤪 But I knew I couldn't keep going that way, so I started decluttering. One drawer at a time, and somehow it became a dopamine hit. The more I let go, the more clarity I found, the more content I felt. We stayed out of consumer debt, saved money during that tight season of living on one income as a family of 4 (soon to be 5). Decluttering led to less spending, less spending led to more alignment. More alignment led to contentment, contentment gave us the clarity to downsize, for my husband to look and find a new job, and for me to leave mine, even though I wasn't financially ready. We trusted our journey and God. Fast forward to now: we built a smaller home, downsized to upsize our land and slowly upgrade our lifestyle. We save money, we've increased our income, and we've stayed within our means. Baby #4 joined the journey too.❤️ It all started by pairing down and taking care of my blessings 🫶🏻 So yes! I wholeheartedly that taking care of your home is a way of selfcare, saving money, and so much more #lessismore #declutteryourlife #intentionalliving #minimalistmom
