The rebellion of adult children against their parents, especially their mothers is completely out of control. Parents are just human. Some parents are absolutely horrible. Some parents make mistakes, fix themselves, become accountable, apologize to their adult children, and it does no good. The child will just continue to be angry and use their own children against their parents. That is not right.

They then call the dysfunction and enmeshment a ‘close and loving’ family. It’s sad to watch the adult chil’d brainwashed into thinking they have the ‘normal’ family & everyone else doesn’t

He’s saying, if you haven’t learned to break your OWN “generational curse” toxic patters, unhealthy ways of speaking, discipline etc you unconsciously bring that cycle into your child’s life. If you grew up in a dysfunctional home you’re more likely to recreate a lot of those things without even noticing right away.
