Iโm a nurse at a Cancer center and I have never heard of hospice chemo. Hospice is when there is no longer any treatments that are working or you decide to stop treatments.

I take a low dose chemo for maintenance to keep me in remission. It's more normal than people think. I will be on it until it stops working or I pass. I'm in remission. But it helps.

Iโve been off chemo for 8 months, it stopped working for me and there are no options for me. Itโs nerve wracking and worrisome to say the least. 5 yrs of fighting;(

There is no cure for cancer and my doctor told me that I would never get off chemo unless I just get tired and want to quit. So far chemo is keeping my cancer stable. Prayers for you darling โค๏ธ
