My parents pay for everything... I'm 19 but i feel like a burden everyday, i need a job but where i live it's scarily dangerous to go out alone and people don't accept you if you don't have a degree in smth and have at least work experience. Oh how i wish i were able to work and earn my own money and pay my parents back. Even if they say it doesn't matter wether i work now or not, i feel like i am disappointing them by not contributing with anything (I still cook, wash and clean the house but, does that really mean anything when others my age are already paying everything by themselves?) I am not ungrateful by any means, it's just frustration at myself for not getting an opportunity to feel useful to the people who have sacrificed their entire life for someone like me.

I’m surrounded by people who have hardships, but I was the only one kicked out, and living on my own, people help me (thank god) but I also live paycheck to paycheck while working almost 90 hours.

sometimes you can call them lucky, not until their parents paying for everything but waiting for return, sometimes people just want to have a work at a very young age so they will not think that they need to pay their parents back mentally.
