It was a friend that did it he admitted to it and forensics proved it was him and that’s the only way he had gotten caught that made him admit to it he was even helping look for her that day

I worked as a journalist in Brownwood when this happened. The DNA composite sketch looked just like the guy who did it. Releasing that composite sketch led to the suspect admitting to what he did.
