For people clowning the lady worker, she is protecting her job, her employees, and her customers. You never know the intention the person has. Imagine you're grilling outside at the lake and a random guy just starts walking right up to the grill with the food still on the grill. You aren't gonna kindly ask him to leave, you're gonna scare him tf off from the food for your safety and others!! Especially at a restaurant where any contact with the food other than the workers handling it with gloves would be considered contamination and all the food would have to be thrown out.
