@amandamoniquebrown: save for tips on using cash abroad 👇 I wasted WAYYY too much money on ATM fees before I learned this trick 🤑 I am not exaggerating, this can save you $10-$50 per ATM visit depending on how much you’re pulling from the ATM 🏧 as long as you have a debit card that doesn’t charge you a fee to convert currencies, than you’re always better off declining the conversion rate the ATM offers you a few cards that have no foreign transaction fees (there are many out there though!): 💚 @Wise ❤️ @Capital One 360 Checking 💙 @USAA Checking (the one I use) ATM Steps: ✈️ use a debit card without international transaction fees 💸 go to an ATM on arrival in a country ❌ decline the currency conversion they offer ✅ accept the ATM fee 💳 wait for your cash AND DEBIT CARD I usually bring $100-$200 USD with me JUST in case as a backup, but I’ve rarely ever used it #internationaltravel #travelmore #traveltipsandtricks
Never use the Euronet Blue and gold atms, terrible rates!

Do you have any suggestions on which banks don’t charge the international fees and reimburses atm fees and how do you decide how much to withdraw? Is there an average amount that you always have in cash on hand? Love your content! I’ve just discovered you and have been scrolling your content for almost an hour.
