Also, you're not allowed your phone on the job, but also, you need your phone (that YOU pay for) to constantly log in...🙄🙄🙄

As someone in cybersecurity, trust me when I say I wish we didn’t have to do this. But some people do very silly things (like click on obvious phishing emails and give up their username and password)

look. I work on Cybersec. I know why it is necessary. I still hate it. I still think there are better ways. and I still think that even better options should be pursued. but MFA is what we have :(

As the IT manager who implemented MFA, this hits a bit closer to home. But at least I set it so you only do MFA once a day, then other systems let you in. 😁

Don’t forget it’s so secure you have to use a personal unsecured device to log in jointly with your work computer 😂

The work phone we get given for MFA doesn't have a finger print or fave ID option. Work requires an 8 digit pass code. That's 16 digits to open an app. 😭

it's not MFA fault it's just horrible implementation 😭 we as security need MFA because it's like one of the few things that might save the company when passwords get stolen. And they will get stolen

It takes 15 minutes to log in where I work. So I do something for myself for 30 minutes after clocking in to get my time back

so many things in my life have MFA now I genuinely spend 20-30 minutes a day on finding and entering codes

The best is when your IT department decides to ignore managers and even VP’s of departments to decide which employees should be able to access even basic information…

hello, IT manager here, if you users didn't click EVERY SINGLE PHISHING LINK during our testing and actually showed ANY little amount of proficiency in "critical thinking" and were able to recognize that the CEO really is not messaging you from an outside domain with spelling mistakes asking you to send him money on his business trip via some unknown portal, we wouldn't be here.
we hate it too.
love, IT

this would just lead to me leaving all the programs open on my PC all day so I only have to enter the passwords once 😅

I work in cybersecurity, something like this is when the CIO over complicated the whole environment. Go with Duo and their advantage tier and 95% of this goes away.
