You got the wrong transmission and wrong years buddy, the transmissions you’re referring to are the 10 speed automatics that range from 2018-current in all various models from mustangs to the f350s

This is old. My 13 f150 did this at 90k miles. They warranty it for 10 years 150k miles. Change the lead frame. Mine would lose signal and would run in either 3rd or 5th, no sudden drop to 1st.

I have to the 10 speed roush. Shit thunks on a downshift the day I got it (I think the slipyolk is thunking idk) when I asked ford and other 10 speed owners they’re like “yea it just does that” bro???

same issue as new chevy trucks. "rear wheel lockup" recall and so far no actual lockup event has happened that ive seen and its just a tcm update
