What Frank Ski #frankski is saying is a fact. I hate partying in Atlanta because all they do is hustle you. The Parking situation is the worst hustle ever and it ruins businesses. Parking is the main reason I stopped going to Nene’s Lounge in Duluth when it was open. A big ass a free parking lot with over 20 business in the Mall lot and she had the nerve to charge $20 dollars to park in Duluth in a free public parking lot. I would park down near Juicy Crab and walk up there and they still say $20.00 to park and I was a promoter for the spot. I said “fuck y’all!” I would never come back in this MFer and I didn’t. Then they wanted $20.00 to get in. $40 down and you didn’t even get a drink yet. Almost everyone that I invited there had a problem with that. You saw it in the Google reviews. The business didn’t last 2 years because they didn’t get it. However spots like Theory thrived because they didn’t charge to park or entry. That $20 went to the bar or the kitchen. Y’all be wanting us to support Black businesses but y’all be robbing us. You have to buy a bottle for a section. If I’m coming to a club by myself why would I buy a bottle? How much alcohol do you want me to consume? Only in Atlanta will a person have a screening for a movie and make you pay as if you are going to the movie theaters. 😂. Every screening I went to was free to watch the movie to spread the word or to let those who are in it see the final product before the release of the film. In Atlanta a Director will make the cast buy tickets to their own movie screening! You can’t make this shit up! If you are going to have a night out in Atlanta you might just want to book a trip to Mexico n it will be the same price. 😂 Shout out to spots like @whisky_mistress because they will still let you in FREE before a certain hour. Go there and spend that entry money at the bar if you get there early enough.
