Prv is factory set at 50-60 so you wouldn’t have to worry about that

You were taught wrong you put a T for the for the irrigation and a ball valve and a regulator for the irrigation then you put a ball valve and a regulator for the house. That’s the way we’re supposed to do it.

irrigation systems need the pressure. and the zones are built for the pressure. when the system turns on, it steals the pressure for the line. prv after irrigation, always.

Wrong way, always have a hose bib and sprinklers before the regulator.
