I wanted to elope, but by family is too intrusive and I was young and let them roll over me. I’m the youngest, of 9 girls, some step/adopted. So I refused to have any wedding party 😂

This is great. I just had my bestie stand up with me and asked about a dozen special ladies to dress in black and we had a fun photo shoot before the ceremony. I loved it so much.

my best friend just had her daughter stand up with her. I threw her a hens do, got ready with her, made emergency toiletries kits for the guests and made sure she knew i supported her

I was a bridesmaids soooo many times and when I got married, I had no bridesmaids/groomsmen. Best decision for us and we definitely enjoyed our day much more bc it was one less stress to worry about.
