Spidey dodged another strike, letting the tail impale a dumpster instead, then yanked it sideways with a web-line. The Scorpion staggered, off-balance, and Peter *moved* with one fluid swing, a knee to the ribs, and a snap kick to the jaw that sent the assassin crashing into a stack of pallets. The Scorpion snarled, thrashing-then froze. A tiny red light on his wrist blinked once. Twice. Peter's spider-sense screamed at him to run... ***KABOOOM*** Meanwhile, across town in the shadows of a derelict AIM safehouse, three figures watched the feed cut to static. "He's getting better," the Vulture muttered. The Rhino cracked his knuckles. "We fix that tomorrow." The Chameleon said nothing.
