hay buddy. iv been there done that. and it is not fun. so I fixed every one off our bins. a month after harvest we tarp every one.

We don’t have a vac that removes bugs so we’re stuck to shovelling tops off then turning the bin and using diatomaceous earth

have you heard of Wavcore fans? They are propane powered grain dryer/fans. would just just the ticket for these remote bins. https://www.wavcor.ca/

Don’t need a fan, don’t be lazy and spin the grain. Drastic temp changes will do this, dry grain or not

Use diatomaceous earth. Add when filling bin. Cheap way to protect yourself.
