@beckersdrygoods: The whole point of these towels is to reduce waste. I use them to replace single use, disposable paper towels. If you already have a system in place that helps keep you from reaching for something disposable, awesome 😎 You can also make these on your own. You can use many different types of fabric to make kitchen towels, I prefer cotton flannel because they are very soft and, because they cling, I can roll them up and keep them where I’d normally have paper towels. I have other videos giving advice on making these yourself. Many of us are watching our budgets right now so it might be time to try some diy 😊 All of the towels in my shop are made by me. They are single layer with a serged edge to prevent them from fraying. They are approximately 10x12 and can be added to laundry you are already doing. I keep a basket under my kitchen sink to hold the dirty towels until I’m ready to do laundry. They do not like fabric softeners but no towel does. They are made out of cotton so if you wash, or dry them on high heat there is a good chance they will shrink. I wash mine on eco warm and have not had an issue with shrinking.
