Always use 2 thermostat probes and leave one disconnected aswell coz Iv had one fail on me and it’s a ball ache

Not having a go but I was using loose wire systems by the likes of Warm-up about 15 years ago.

Everytime I use the matting and put the cable in it puts a smile on my face about how easy it is now haha drawing out on the ply where the cables going to run then tape up all of it then self level 😅

I think the cable and decoupling system is more of a faff to lay then the mats. I personally think the mats are much quicker and easier to lay. better price too

So I start one end and cut the cable off at other end of the roll then leave near a socket to them to connect up ?
