So people feel this way about other public service jobs who work 3 days on and 3 days off, basically working the same amount of days we do?? 🙄 Or nurses who work 3 shifts a week. Same thing!

Teachers should be paid way more. Only thing I disagree with is the school experience response, I actually had some teachers in the past who were antisemetic to me.

Teachers don’t get paid in the summer and go back to school before the kids. It comes to about 6 weeks of unpaid vacation. Funny but I have plenty of friends in jobs that get paid 6 weeks of vacation and they don’t have to take in all in the summer.

Daycare in my area is about $2700mo per kid…. I have 100 different kids daily. So where’s my $270k per month if I’m just babysitter.

Also most teachers go back to school in the summer/breaks to further their careers!!! And unless your district has a program that will help pay the teachers pay for it

I think you just definitely should be paid more the garbage they have to deal with Dan and Danielle between administration and students. I’m sure you get students who totally disrespect. You absolutely should get paid more.
