You can’t pay taxes on money you didn’t earn that year = deferred payment to the following year.

Right because people don’t understand when you get that check you have to pay taxes for that year. There’s a lot more planning that goes into selling grain managing grain and I’m not even large scale

I'd be interested in a better description of grain marketing in the US, in aus we don't really get a local basis it's reagonal based, amd its basically a fixed ampunt based off how far from port you are, its more like a percent off the global price. it never changes more than a dollar a tonne
