I don’t know if this is classified as ‘going nonverbal’ but onetime I was having a panic attack so bad it felt like I physically couldn’t talk for like 3 hours, that’s probably not what that is called but yeah.

Whenever someone talks to me when I’m nonverbal I just respond anyway. Yes it feels like I need to tear out my own vocal cords but what if they think I’m rude??? Like when I’m wearing my headphones???
