This is my two cents. It depends. You don’t actually need carbs but, most people will probably feel like Sh!t without it. Also, carbs help with performance in the gym which correlates to muscle growth

If You are on a fat and protein diet, your body will eventually use the fats for energy instead. But if you’re not used to it itll be a struggle. It’s about balance 👌. No disrespect by the way
