As a horse person, many don't understand how dangerous this could be for the mare. Typically the vet would abort one in utero. The fact that they all 3 made it is an absolute miracle.

Absolutely beautiful! When my mare unexpectedly gave birth to twins it was the scariest thing I ever had to witness. Luckily all three are perfectly fine and thriving.

My late g/father’s horse had twins in the early 80’s… he named them Pride & Joy… he kept Pride & gave Joy to a friend… both lived long normal horsey lives
