@hugurumitoys: In some of my patterns, I use both dec (invisible decrease) and sc2tog, and people often ask: "Aren’t they the same?" 🤔 Well, no! Here’s the difference! I mostly use the invisible decrease because it reduce the gap between stitches closer, which is super important for amigurumi to look neat But sometimes, especially for very small parts, the invisible decrease is too tricky for me… so that’s when I use sc2tog instead! For example, in one of my patterns, there is a piece with 8 stitches, and I need to make 4 decreases. In that case, sc2tog is much easier! Want to try it yourself? 👀 Make 8 sc into a MR, then 1 round of 8 sc, and then try to make 4 decreases using both methods! Let me know if you also find sc2tog easier like I do!
