I viewed a post where the bacon grease was poured in an empty mason jar, placed the lid on, turn upside down n allow 2 settle n firm. Next day, scoop out grease n bits 2 other jar. Discard waste

My parents and grandparents always had a big can of saved bacon grease. They saved everything really aluminum foil, waxed paper. They lived through the depression.
