Steel bends when hit by something meaning if someone gets what ever fell or etc steel won’t bend back to original or enough to get toes out composite goes back to original

composite toes can shatter like frag grenades under immense pressure. steel toes cut your toes off on purpose because cut toes can be sewed back on. crushed toes can't.

Steel will not break under heavy weight, it’ll fold and slice your toes off while plastic will break under heavy weight meaning you’ll keep your toes but all the bones willl be broken. You pick
