Heavy on the favoring one set of grandchildren. They would come and visit and only talk about the other grandchild, show pics and videos and tell stories. Never asking about how our kids were doing

My mil lives down the street, didn’t call, came a week after my son’s birthday with a money card/gift, wished my son HB, hugged him…..my son said “it was last week”. 😂 👏

Hell my MIL literally is two houses down, drives pass our house everyday to get to and from work and complain about not seeing our kids. But yet she favors her daughter’s kids from our kids.

Literally… ✅✅✅✅ just to name a few…randomly call on a Tuesday asking to take the kids to dinner knowing they are have sports, and then say to others, you tried to take them to dinner and we said no.

My FIL angrily texted us when no one had called MIL yet for her birthday. None of our kids or even her own son get a call, so… Plus I had already mailed her a card, so I didn’t ignore her.

MIL didn’t call or visit my 2yo son for 3 months… then CALLED MY MOM (who horribly abused me my whole life and MIL knows this) to complain that I’m “keeping her grandson from her”. 😳

I’m no contact with my family and MIL knows. She still commented happy birthday on my mom’s, attention seeking, post about my son’s birthday, but she didn’t take the time to actually say it to my son.

The favorites for me! My mil only posts about her favorite grandkids. None of the others. And makes sure she goes to all their events and goes to lavish vacations with the favorites!
