I'm a dog lover but I totally understand the farmers point of view, no one wants to put a dog down like that, but if they're that dangerous and are going for people too there's no other option.

As an ex farmer I can say with confidence no one wants or likes shooting dogs but when they go after livestock you have no choice... 😔

I'm sorry, if that was my dog I'd expect it to be shot too! the farmer didn't need to apologise and the police were going to do the same thing anyway. just keep dogs on leads simple.

this was on the Welsh police program Llinell Las. Farmers lost 24 pregnant ewes and another 40 odd were injured by 2 x XL American Bulldogs

again it's NOT the farmer or the dogs fault it's the irisponsible owners clearly the dogs have no control and no owner in sight so obviously dogs have escaped them some people shouldn't own animals
