many notching techniques, this one is the worst one. if a fightjet is moving 90º to the missile, it will then move away until it is in the red/blueshift position since it is not perpendicular.

Its bc of PD the normal Radar has a weakness against terrain, but for that u cant notch, most fighters use PD (Pulse Doppler)

it was correct for analog radio compute missilea like aan2 oriole or aim 54a but modern missles use pd shift so notcing wont work u gotta deploy chaff to sometimes make it work
