Roshan Limbu :
This is way too much. Taking the lives of innocents who haven’t even witnessed half of their life is beyond humanity. How can a government meant to protect its people justify spilling the blood of its youth?
Gen-Z didn’t step out into the streets for violence, they stepped out for a dream — a dream of a country where voices are heard, where justice isn’t just a word in the constitution, but a reality. They shouted for change, for equality, for a better tomorrow. Yet, instead of listening, the system answered with bullets, batons, and bloodshed.
How can killing students and silencing voices bring peace? How can the loss of young lives be seen as victory by those in power? Every drop of blood spilled is not just a life lost — it’s a future stolen, a family shattered, and a nation pushed deeper into despair.
But here’s the truth: you can silence voices, but you cannot kill an idea. You can break bodies, but you cannot break the spirit of an entire generation. Gen-Z is not asking for war — they are asking for dignity, for freedom, for the right to dream without fear.
Killing the youth is killing tomorrow. If speaking up is treated as a crime, then what future does Nepal really have?
