I was told by Drees that it was due to a faulty HVAC system that didn’t pull the humidity back out. That it would have or should have been a warning on the thermostat there was high humidity but it was potentially ignored. I also heard that the homeowners affected that went through the warranty process with Drees had everything righted and are back in their homes but those who didn’t allow Drees in to correct it are still dealing with it. No one else has had issues since they switched HVAC systems. Additionally, every homeowner affected had a ruggable where the mold was - which is just an additional interesting fact. Curious if this information is true?

I hear texas has the lowest building standards across the nation. And those doing the building are in no way trained. Simply showing up to a job site and hired. In my case it would be the carpet padding not even covering the entire bed room or dining room. Then, others coning behind the guy responsible for the padding and placing carpet on bare concrete foundation.

I’m so sorry ❤️🩹 we left our new build home for 2 years to fight it out legally. I’m praying for y’all. It’s the most emotionally, physically, and mentally draining thing I’ve ever been through.

Our garage concrete floor sweats when it’s humid we figure they didn’t put down a vapor barrier under there but our basement doesn’t. This would be terrible if it happened inside. How do you fix it?
