I do home health. One patient all day. Autonomy. Work for Great company. Pay is less than hospital but I have complete peace. I will never set foot in a hospital job again. I did critical care for 27 years. 27 YEARS!!!! Administration in hospitals are so out of touch with reality. I couldn’t take it anymore. No thanks.

If I would have known better, I would have been a rec therapist! I’m not burnt out yet, but I am changing specialties to avoid that. It’s hard when our entire profession doesn’t feel heard. 💔

current plan is electricians union. you get paid for school (about $25/hr depending on area from what I've heard) and pay goes up as you pass qualifications. I'm dreading going back next year if not.
