i dont think i have nightmares, but my mind always somehow takes me back to where it happened. i keep thinking about what i couldve done to prevent it, even though it already happened.

I’m trying to get a diagnosis but I have a question, does anyone else have a lack of “ common sense” like things I should no I don’t? Like it doesn’t come naturally which also I think relates to the awful memory because if I did have common sense I forgot it. It might sound silly but I feel less intelligent because maybe my brain was too busy trying to stand guard and be prepared and fixated on the things that were going on in my childhood
