Solid diag. Those folks commenting about it being a Ford, I just did the same diag and repair on a 2019 Silverado. (And the dealership had 3 of the FPCM’s in stock).

First and foremost rookie mistake I seen wrong. Before removing fp plug you want to check for codes. Idc what state it is. You'll be chasing tail if not. There's ways to check it without getting under

Why wouldn’t you just scan the cel before all diag. I’m sure there would probably be a code for the module. My scanner can check voltage to almost all modules and sensors. seems like it
