My cousin was in tower 2. She started to leave after 1 was hit. They told her to go back. She just had a baby and had a feeling to leave. She just made it out of the 2nd moments before it collapsed

My dad worked in one of the towers. They kept telling everyone to stay in their offices, my mom told my dad not to listen to them and it saved his life. I grew up with kids who lost their parents :(

I dont think people who either weren't alive, or can't remember, do not understand how much the world changed after 9/11. it's a sense of overwhelming dread, that never left this earth again.

My uncle was in the towers on a work trip, they told them to go back, and his boss had a bad feeling and said no, they made it out thankfully, but that one man saved my uncles life

Mine was when my husband texted me I LOVE YOU, right before he took his own life. When I texted back, he was already gone. 💔 🕊 I was 34y & we had a 5y son & 9y daughter. this was 10y ago.

This is the first time I’ve seen someone else who was personally impacted by 9/11 on my FYP. My dad was an FDNY battalion chief who unfortunately passed as well. I am so sorry for your loss ❤️
