I love when casters hype their teams up pre/post game, but during the actual cast can be a bit rough (remembering the infamous G2 vs Damwon worlds cast). Casters should be hype but neutral tbh

If the broadcast is regional yes. If there was a Eu/Na/Ch/Korea/ stream yes. I guess thats why co stream work so dam good. You can choose your bias

There’s biased then there is having your head up a teams backside like Dagda with G2. When he went silent & was having a breakdown when KC beat G2 last split was hilarious😂

I think you said it correct. It should be allowed for casters and talent to be biased towards their region and do banter with other casters from the other regions. That brings so much entertainment

Yes. Why does Kobe cast big NA games internationally? He pours his soul and heart in that cast because he cares a lot about how NA performs and emotions will shine through in those passionate moments.

They could be biased if both sides are represented by a caster ie. 3 man cast 1 neutral and 2 biased towards each team. Balanced approach

I personally love the banter between different region casters. Also when you can feel the passion with which they cast for their own region...it s something else. Also LEC show is by far the best 🥰

I think the over emphasis on caster neutrality came from the beginning of league when it was trying hard to establish themselves as a serious sport. Maybe you'll have more insight.

Yes, 100%. Casters need to be themselves, honesty and unfiltered enthousiasm is contagious and will add to the experience of the viewer. Best is your example of Eu vs NA with both casters combined

I love it when casters have a bias, it's cool to listen to them and it's absolutely normal, they have feelings and loyalty towards their regions. I don't want them to feign they don't

I think if your bias doesn’t get so deep that it interferes with your professional relationships within the workplace, how can anyone be against rooting for their region?

biased back and forth makes it more fun and is one of the reasons costreams got so popular imo.

if your caster ego is like more "serious" I don't think it's a good fit. if your more like easily excited then it's more fitting

As long as the bias is more entertaining than what unbias could be I don’t mind. There is a bias call in a recent lakers vs bulls (nba) game that made the buzzer beater clip so much better.
