@william_physio: What is the heel to toe drop of running shoes? Heel to toe drop (heel drop) is the difference in the stack height of the midsole at the heel compared to the forefoot. Most shoes will range from 4-12mm. There is a lot of nuance in selecting the right shoe but simply speaking, a taller heel drop will shift more load into your knees, and a lower heel drop will shift more load into your calf and achilles tendon. So depending on what you want to offload, you can choose the more appropriate shoe accordingly. Shoes: @On Cloudeclipse - 37mm stack height, 6mm heel drop On Cloudsurfer 2 - 32mm stack height, 9mm heel drop #Running #run #runninginjury #runninginjuries #runners #gym #strengthtraining #rehab #prehab #injury #runningphysio #physio #physicaltherapist #marathontraining #marathon #Fitness #DreamOn #OnAmbassador #runningshoe #trainers

hi, would you recommend a high heel drop running shoe if my right foot always stands like this? (In the photo I sent) … just asking because I don’t want to get the wrong running shoes to make the tightness worse in my feet because I have cebral palsy.
