My grandmother was born in 1949. I’ll never forget the time she told me that she went to go see sleeping beauty at the colored picture show through the colored door….. She will be 76 this year. It really was not that long ago.

I was born in 1957, my daughter ,born in 1975 was 1st born with Civil Rights. My grandmother's father was born enslaved. So my father's mother and her siblings were the 1st free born. I'm 67
