Yes! Exactly this. It just takes extra time do makeup and time for skincare etc. Then I feel like I’m always thinking about clothes these days! Like does this make me look drab or is this too young for me! I don’t actually care what others think and that’s the beauty of getting older but I like to look good. I always have even as a young child.

There’s no norm for middle age. Like when I’m 65 or so, it’s acceptable to look elderly. Up until 40 is considered youthful and there’s a look for that. But in between…it’s all over the place!

I've never been able to tan. I have frizzy 1c/2a hair so I always have to rock a blow out. Botox? that's easy. I've always had tinwork to look decent. 😭
