@objectfromnothing: Water damaged Japanese selvedge denim for a client. Hidden rivet tapered jeans made entirely with damaged / reclaimed material A little steam showed me that what first appeared to be a beautiful mottled discoloration throughout the fabric turned out just to be starch that had been lifted to the surface. I’m still curious and hopeful if anything interesting will appear after the first wash.
