I was going to get one until I looked at it financially. After 6 months you will have to buy a normal car seat so you may as well just buy a 0-4 car seat instead of the cost twice.

I’ve only ever had summer babies and can confirm I used them all the time!!! I’m always in aircon though hahahahaha

We used ours heaps with my first who was born in summer. 🥰 We only took her out if we were spending more then 30mins somewhere.

My little one is a Nov baby, we hired a capsule it was the best decision! We use our capsule everyday, but I also have a tiny tot too

Yep! My first was born October 2023 and it was unseasonably warm as it was, he was in a normal car seat by 9 weeks (although he was also huge and outgrew the capsule). Number 2 due in August and hoping we get more use out of it this time purely for convenience haha

People should also remember that capsules aren't for going for walks in the pram & bubs shouldn't be sleeping in them outside of the car... They are handy for quick stopovers (school drop off etc).

I have both babies in different months. And I’ve used it soooo much. Guess it depends what brand I’d never put bun in a carrier during hot buns I’d rather capsule

I never even considered this! I’m on the sunny coast/wide bay and I feel like we only get about 4 business days of cosy daytime weather a year 😅 heat is definitely something to factor into it

We used ours heaps with our first...was the best thing. But our second would wake the moment the car stopped & it was easier to just put her into the pram / carrier than take the capsule out.

My winter babe hated his 😭 could never transfer onto the pram. It was so clunky and loud. I am hoping baby number two likes it or we will sell it!

That's really interesting I never thought of that. So an October baby. You would have a car seat and Pram separate?
