They are terrible transmissions in cars but they work really well in machines with smaller engines like mopeds scoters and snowmobiles also some riding lawn mowers use them

People only say cvt is bad and only ever bring up Nissan. It’s funny how no one can ever explain how it’s bad. Instead they resort to saying traditional transmission is better

Vast majority of CVTs in Hybrid cars do not use the traditional belt & pulley system making them far more reliable. They're referred to as an "E-CVT" has 2 motor/generators inside the transmission.

i had few cvts and im driving one now and they are grate for 0-what ever speed you are trying to go bud when you try to go faster while alrady moveing it sucks
