@dianessourdough: This is the easiest way to freeze sourdough bread if you can’t finish it in 3-4 days. (I can’t relate 😂 ) This is a soft sandwich loaf but you can do the same for any artisan sourdough loaf. Slice it first and put a small piece of parchment paper in between the slices so they won’t stick together. This way you can always easily grab a slice or two for a sandwich or grilled cheese or just to eat with some butter! 😋 I like to double bag it to put in the freezer. Then when you want some bread, just take out the slices you need and put them in the toaster! You may have to double toast it if it’s straight frozen, or you can let it thaw out for a couple of minutes and toast like normal.
