My sister is 16 and still struggles heavily to read and write. It so heartbreaking. She never got the help she needed and I’m trying to help her now but I am struggling to figure out how to do it all.

Put on subtitles! My dyslexic daughter’s reading went way up when she was reading subtitles for k-dramas every day. Reading PLUS the added context of visual media helped enormously.
