I’m not gonna lie it took awhile to post this. Even though it’s one of the best things to post it’s been an adjustment lately because the internet can be so brutal for no reason. Freshly coming out of a very vulnerable space & putting my most raw moments on a big screen is what it felt like. I know thats what comes with it. I just been maneuvering. Rebooting I guess. Reminding myself that this is the point. Remain who I am. Authentically. Unapologetically. You not poppin if they not hating lol. I gotta big heart & too empathetic for social media sometimes. But I have a huge purpose & big callings. I can’t ignore those calls or be scared to pick up because what other people think. I told myself a while ago I’m not watering myself down for no one. I’m not dimming my light anymore. I’m not slowing down or changing the way I do things. I’ve been talking about this moment for YEARS. I’ve pursued other paths & always found myself back to this one. This time around I feel like i’m finally where i’m meant to be. Truly honored to be walking in the path God paved for me. I’m geeked up. It’s only up from here. This journey wont be easy but i’m ready for it. Yall know I can make it through any storm so this one hits different. Never give up on your dreams. It’s never too late. Remember if it reached you it’s for you. You can only walk through doors that were open for you in the first place. This is way bigger than becoming a barber for me. It’s another way to spread light & love in this world.
